  2. Follow USSSA Rules in all respects.
  3. All teams must provide proof of insurance at the tournament registration desk BEFORE the start of the first pool game.
  4. All teams should have copy of their roster with player birth certificates. This documentation must be available upon demand for any or all games.
  5. Each team should be prepared to start games up to 15 minutes early in the event that fields become available because of earlier "run rule shortened games".
  6. The Colleyville Baseball Association will provide pitching and score cards to registered teams for each game. Please check in with the registration desk at least 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled game.
  7. Maximum game time length is 1 hour, 15 minutes for 6U, 7U and 8U games.
  8. Maximum game time length is 1 hour, 30 minutes for 09U and 10U games.
  9. Maximum game time length is 1 hour, 40 minutes for all 11U and up games.
  10. All championship games will be subject to time limits and run rules.
  11. No infield practice for any teams.
  12. No opening ceremony.
  13. Closing ceremony shall include the award of trophies by the Tournament Director or a designated CBA representative
(commissioner, board member or other appointed individual).
  14. P >Modified California Tie-Breaker Definition:

    • Each half inning will start with the bases loaded and one (1) out.
    • Each team will continue the batting order from the previous inning
    • The 3 previous batters will occupy the bases as follows...Last batter on First Base, second batter on Second Base and third batter on Third Base

  15. No Slashing for 9U - 12U.
  16. 7 run max per inning for 9U and 10U.
  17. Mercy (run) rule for 6 Inning games is 15 after 3, 10 after 4 and 8 after 5.  Follow USSSA mercy (run) rules for 7 inning games.
  18. o    Bat Policy; For 2012 All star Tournament we will follow our recreational league 2012 policy governing bats:
In order to mitigate the financial impact on our CBA families moving forward, the bat policy for the 2012 Recreational season shall be: Bats of any construction will be allowed as long as they carry either the USSSA 1.15BPF stamp or are BBCOR certified. Single piece alloy bats used during previous seasons will be allowed until the spring 2013 season. For the 2013 season and beyond, only bats that are stamped with the USSSA 1.15BPF label or are BBOCR certified will be allowed. Each teams head coach will be responsible for determining the team’s compliance with the bat rule. Any disputes will be settled by the home plate umpire. Many have asked, what are the rating systems and how do they apply to us? BBOCR bats – these are high school bats used in most cases by ages 14 and up and are restricted to only drop three (-3) bats. In other words these bats are three ounces lighter than their length. They are certified for use by the National High School Federation and the NCAA, and are considered to be “adult” bats. DO NOT buy a BBCOR bat for your son unless they are old enough and strong enough to swing them. You will find that they will enjoy much more success in ages 13 and below by using the available “senior league” bats in the 2 5/8 inch diameter. USSSA 1.15 – bats in this classification are the “senior league” bats that most players in the CBA will use. USSSA is a major sanctioning body of youth sports. Most of these bats are drop ten (-10) or nine. Little League – these were the original 1.15BPF bats and are restricted to 2 1/4 inch diameter. As the CBA does not restrict bat diameter, youadvantage you son by purchasing a bat that is larger than 2 1/4 in diameter. TRAVEL TEAMS – these rules apply to the CBA recreational league only, bats restrictions will be dictated by the governing body of the venues you compete in. Please feel free to contact Wally Pitts - wjpitts@ tx.rr.com or 817-919-8919 or any board members with any bat questions you may have.
  19. For any other questions, follow USSSA rules.
  20. Game Reporting - Scores are reported by the umpires after the coaches have signed the completed score card.
  21. No AA or other select teams - all star teams only.
