About the Colleyville Baseball Association
Colleyville Baseball Association is a non-profit organzation dedicated to providing the administrative body for youth baseball between the ages of 3 to 14 in which players are grouped into leagues for the Colleyville and Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District. The individual age appropriate leagues are designed to provid organized baseball activities focusing on individual instruction and teamwork in a positive, constructive and fun environment. CBA believes that if you teach young people to play by the rules, they will learn to live by the rules.
The leagues are designed to help young people develop into better adults throught participation in organized, supervised competitive athletics. Sportsmanship, teamwork, self reliance, and self-displine are some of the positive charactoristics that are learned, along with how to win and how to accept defeat, by participation in organized leage play. The Association (known as CBA) offers a variety of programs for inexperienced players to seasoned veterens looking for a competitive environment.
The CBA governing body is made up of fifteen (15) board members that provide administrative management and eight (8) age specific league commissioners that manage team functions. The board has adopted a code of conduct that is required for all players, parents and coaches to abide by (click here to view the code of conduct).

Other CBA Committees
Colleyville Baseball Association has two organizational committees that are outlined below:
Financial Audit Committee
Tasked to audit activities of the treasurer and any financial activity, should a complaint be made. This committee is made up of three (3) members in total. One (1) member is appointed by the CBA Board President from the current roster of CBA board members. Two (2) other members are elected at the annual CBA meeting held the last week of August. Each member will have a term of one year, and must be either re-elected or re-appointed annually.

Sportsmanship Committee
The Sportsmanship committee is the arbiter of any complaint about CBA events or game conduct (Game Conduct, Umpire, Officers, Directors, etc). It is comprised of three (3) sitting board members and two (2) non board volunteers appointed by the CBA President annually. This committee, along with the guidelines outlined in the grievance policy is designed to provide a process in which an individual can present an issue(s) for review and resolution. The Sportsmanship Committee will not hear complaints about the CBA Bylaws or its policies and procedures.
