We are pleased to announce Colleyville Baseball Association annual elections will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2008 at 6:00PM - Colleyville Community Center (please see the bellow address).

Once a year, in accordance to the Association's by-laws, an annual meet is held of the membership to elect officers, board members-at-large and various non-board committee members. Below please find the assoications by-laws

Participation by parent/player membership in this process (voting or running for a filled or vacated position) is vital to the health and ongoing success of our association. ALL POSITIONS ARE NONPAID/VOLUNTEER. Please consider volunteering your time as a board or nonboard member. The rewards will last a lifetime!

What Positions are Elected?
Annually, two (2) groups of elected officicals that comprise the backbone of the associations' goverance are elected by the membership (see below defination on CBA Membership).

The first group of elected officials are the Board of Directors.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is made up of five (5) executive directors and ten (10) directors-at-large with specific responsbilities. All positions are volunteer / nonpaid. Below outlines all fifteen (15) positions with the current office holder and a link to the position profiles that describes the job description of the position. All positions must be elected EVERY year.

Financial Audit Committee
The second group that is elected annuallly are the two (2) non-board members of the Financial Audit Committee. This committee is tasked to audit activities of the treasurer and any financial activity, should a complaint be made. This committee is made up of three (3) members in total. One (1) member is appointed by the CBA Board President from the current roster of CBA board members. Two (2) other members are elected at the annual CBA meeting held the last week of August.

Each member will have a term of one year, and must be either re-elected or re-appointed annually. Below outlines the current members.

How does the Nomination Process Work?
Nominations for any CBA Board of Directors or Non-Board Audit Committee position shall be made to either the President or Secretary, in writing either electronically or via U.S. Mail, no later than twenty (20) days prior to the Annual Board. DEADLINE FOR NOMINATION IS JULY 21, 2008

Who Can Vote?
Each family with one or more paid player (verifed from team rosters) from the Fall 2007 or Spring 2008 season will be awarded a single ballot to cast in the scheduled elections to be held on Tuesday August 12, 2008 at 6:00PM - Colleyville Community Center - click here details.
