Fall Select Team Tryouts
Important information and milestones about the Fall 2008 Select Team program is outlined below:

• All forms and payments are due by Saturday August 23, 2008
• Players that will be offered a position on a CBA sanctioned fall team will be posted on a team roster by Thursday August 14, 2008
• Please see below information about our select program and what will be expected of players that accept offers to particpate in a CBA santioned team

To make tryouts efficient and less stressful to both parents and players, please setup your player profile in advance of your scheduled tryout if you did not play with a CBA Select team in Spring 2008. By setting up your profile, players will be processed much more quickly - allowing them to focus on the tryout rather than filling out forms.

2008 Fall Travel Teams and Coaching Contacts
Travel Team Information is listed by age group.

The number of teams CBA has chosen to “sanction” was based on a number of things to include the following:

1. quality of the coach’s requesting a teams
2. past success of these coach’s
3. past success of that age groups All-Star teams
4. current number of “sanctioned” select coach’s in that age group
5. field space availability
6. general parental/player interest, etc.

The timeline for the selection process and the method that these teams will be formed will be left to the individual head coaches. All selections must be complete by the posted deadlines. This will allow those not making one of the CBA Sanctioned Select Teams to still have time to register for our Recreation program. It is a policy of CBA that no select player should play in the CBA recreation program.

Select baseball is NOT an equal play program. It is a place for those who choose to play a higher level of baseball. For the most part, the best players will consume the majority of the repetitions. That being said, we do encourage all coaches to provide a memorable experience and attempt to “service” each player with quality game time experience.

Should you have further interest, please contact your respective age group coaches for times and locations for their tryouts. Act now, as these tryouts will come fast and furious!

Select Team Coaches Applications For Fall 2008
Coaches Applications are due by Saturday July 19, 2008. Applications must be completed using the "Volunteer" section in your family profile.
